I was there on a Friday night... Busy but still some tables. All the food was delicious and the service was very good. The little charcoal burners keep everything warm while you eat. The crocodile sate is minced and tender. The grilled prawns/squid/fish are marinated and so tender with just enough bite to them. The banana fritters are crisp and crunchy and outstanding!

Nasi Goreng was fantastic, staff were lovely too, came in last minute on a Sunday and they still seated me and made me an incredible meal. Atmosphere was lovely too, felt just like the real deal!

Transported back to Indonesia……..the music, the decor, & the food really made me reminisce. Everything was so fresh and very well cooked, the prawn curry was a standout for me as it was loaded with fresh juicy prawns! I should also mention the corn fritters, crunchy little delights. The great food and awesome service I received here was fantastic and would highly recommend. 🙏

Easily the best Balinese food I’ve had outside of Bali. Everything we had is delicious (we had the chicken skewers, lamb shanks and chicken curry). Huge portions. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

One of the best restaurant experiences I have had in Cairns. Staff made us feel very welcome from the get go. We were a party of three and each selected an appetiser and a main course to share. Everything including beverages was very reasonably priced. We were surprised by the generous portions of the appetisers and briefly wondered whether we had ordered too much. In the end, we probably didn’t need the extra rice bowl. All dishes were superb. The presentation of each dish was excellent. I finished with the best affogato I’ve ever had. The food and service throughout was faultless.

We popped in on a Friday evening for dinner and immediately liked the decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed with the Perkedel Jagung (Corn fritters) which were tasty and had just a hint of chili. Our mains were Massaman Beef (very flavoursome and tender but not too sweet) and Ayam Panggang (twice cooked crispy chicken which arrived over a smoking need of charcoal and was also tasty and tender). All up a lovely meal in delightful surroundings. Cheers and enjoy

As a Balinese, I can confidently say that this restaurant serves authentic Balinese cuisine. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the staff are lovely. I truly hope to comeback in the future. Terima kasih

We ended up booking Bayleaf last minute after we arrived at another restaurant and realised it was closed. We had a group of 13 people, so we were a bit worried about finding somewhere that could take us on short notice, but Bayleaf were really accommodating and took us in without any hassle. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start, and they did a great job looking after such a big group. The service was really good and everything ran smoothly. Even with a table our size, the food came out in a timely manner which we all appreciated. The food itself was amazing. Everything we ordered was full of flavour, fresh, and really well presented. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and there were plenty of positive comments going around. Overall it was a great experience. The team did an awesome job accommodating our large group at the last minute and still delivered great service and really good food. Highly recommend and we would definitely go back again.

I got recommended from friends to taste the authentic Indonesian foods in here. Yes I am very satisfied with the flavor. Each dish presented so well, and tasted amazing. Great customer service since walked in to walked out. Definitely come again.
